Wish Upon A Star

Disneyland Paris Day One: Shopping

Disneyland Paris has a lot of shops, let me rephrase that, it has a plethora of shops. It even has two shopping streets dedicated to Disney shopaholics.

Mainstreet U.S.A.

One of the best themed shopping locations in Disneyland Paris is Mainstreet U.S.A.

Located at the entrance of Disneyland Paris you have the best themed shopping street in the world. With its 1900s setting you are swept to times of the past.

One of the things I always wanted to do is go to an old fashioned barber. You know, one of those places where you go get a shave and a cut. But I couldn’t do that on the first day, there was a big line when I came to Dapper Dan’s.

So instead I started some shopping. Most people tell you to wait until the last day to do your shopping. But in my opinion, just do it whenever you feel like it. Some items do get out of stock due to popularity.

There is a fantastic bakery that sells all kinds of awesome Disney food! But it is kind of pricey compared to normal bakeries. But I cant remember the last time my local bakery had any Mickey pretzels!

Disney Village

Disney village is the next shopping street I always pay a visit to. World of Disney is the biggest store in the whole resort and sports the majority of all the merch you can find. So if you can’t find merch that you saw previously? Be sure to check World of Disney!

If you ever get hungry while shopping for some awesome merch there are a couple of places to eat! Most are the quick service type like the McDonalds that is on site. So you can spend less time in a restaurant and more time shopping!

One of the coolest shops must be the Lego shop! Its not a huge shop, but it does have a lot of Disney Lego! The prices are as astronomical as Star Wars itself, but if you ever want to build a Death Star, this is the place to buy it!

I did a lot of shirt shopping there and pin shopping. I just love those so much. Shirts define who you are in my opinion, so I want to show my Mickey side as much as I can!

Pins are a great decorating option on jackets and backpacks. They really have pins for all your Disney pin needs! And if you see someone rocking the pin of your dreams you can ask to trade! Even cast members love to trade!

Shopping in Disneyland Paris is a lot of fun! But make sure you have a large wallet for the big prices Disney asks for merch!
